Dimitris and Aphrodite's love story began in the least romantic way possible: a 30-minute car ride neither of them wanted to be on. Dimitris had agreed to give Aphrodite a ride, and meanwhile, they were both separately texting their friends to complain about being stuck in a car together. What they didn't expect was that by the time the ride ended, they'd gone from reluctant passengers to practically inseparable — and the rest, as they say, is history.

They officially started dating in October 2020, right in the middle of COVID lockdowns, which meant their relationship fast-tracked itself. Even though they didn't technically move in together until later, it felt like they'd been living together from day one. Somewhere between surviving lockdowns, building a life side by side, and realizing they never got tired of each other, it became clear this was forever.

Dimitris proposed during a trip to an island, getting down on one knee on a cliff at sunset — after being noticeably nervous for days leading up to the moment. Aphrodite said yes, of course. Since then, life has only gotten sweeter, with an engagement, a growing family, and now counting down to their wedding in September 2026.

When they're not planning the wedding, Dimitris and Aphrodite are usually planning their next adventure. They love traveling, getting lost in new places, sharing great food, and trying things slightly outside their comfort zones — like snowboarding together. Some of their favorite memories include California, wandering through Spain and Italy, and an unforgettable trip through Southeast Asia. No matter where they go, they're happiest doing it side by side.
